SRIVAN OWNS

Products are software and knowledge systems owned by Srivan Technologies, built for customers and readers.

Product

PLATFORM OPS

A protected knowledge product for production platform work.

Platform Ops is the first Srivan Technologies product: a technical knowledge system for Kubernetes, OpenShift, SRE, Linux and platform engineering. The public surface explains the map; the member layer protects premium issues, protected topic paths, search and admin tooling.

It exists because the explanation I wanted usually did not. Writing the thing you had to work out yourself is the most reliable way to find out whether you actually understood it.

SRIVANTERM REMOTE OPERATIONS WORKSPACE

A Windows desktop workspace for the people who run servers: terminals, SSH, file transfer, tunnels and fleet commands in one place, built to make production work safer.

I am building SrivanTerm as the operator's side of the Srivan product line. Sessions are organised as Project, Environment, Module and Session; production tabs are marked and guarded; and every risky action can be confirmed, recorded and audited. It works offline, keeps passwords in Windows Credential Manager and talks to no cloud service. Download it below.

What it does
  • SSH, local shells, serial and Telnet
  • Jump hosts, tunnels, SFTP and ZMODEM
  • MultiExec with canary and batch runs
  • Production guard for risky commands
  • Audit trail and session playback
  • Host monitor and network tools
  • Kubernetes pods and Docker containers
  • RDP and VNC through SSH
  • Second-person approval
Next
  • Code-signed releases
Latest: 1.0.0 · 2026-10-09 · Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit · 6.1 MB

First stable release: Project › Environment › Module sessions, Kubernetes and Docker, second-person approval, RDP/VNC through SSH, network tools and in-app updates.

SHA-256 0e3c63023748298dc17e74b3bb91841e053fadac720f726e45ddece1ba9bf425

This version is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may say the app is unrecognised: choose More info, then Run anyway. Check the file against the SHA-256 above first (Get-FileHash in PowerShell).

Inside the product

PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE, MEMBER WORKSPACE

Deep dives

Architecture to incident

Kubernetes workloads, config and access, scheduling, autoscaling and cluster operations. OpenShift architecture, networking, storage and operations. Service mesh fundamentals and operations.

Reference

362 commands

Linux, Kubernetes, Docker and OpenShift command references, grouped by the task you are actually doing rather than alphabetically.

Foundations

Underneath it all

Computer fundamentals, operating systems, shell and bash, Python, and Git — the layer that explains why the layer above behaves as it does.

Member layer

Protected paths and workspace

GitHub and Google sign-in, premium issue routes, protected topic paths, global search after login, admin controls, subscriber storage, and latest-issue email campaigns.

Specifics get a better answer than introductions — say what is actually happening and I will tell you what I would look at first.
